Bull Run Lake Cutthroat trout monitoring
Biofish has been conducting studies of the coastal cutthroat trout population of Bull Run Lake, Oregon since 1999. With over 20 years of data, our monitoring and analysis has provided crucial information for maintaining the sustainability of the population of this lake, the headwaters freshwater drinking source for the City of Portland. Our work includes spawning surveys, adult counts, statistical analysis, snorkelling and habitat surveys, and lake draw-down effects.
